Valentin Berrios

Valentin Berrios, age 77, of Chicago, Illinois, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. Born and raised in Humacao, Puerto Rico, Valentin was deeply proud of his Puerto Rican heritage. His love for the island, its culture, and its traditions was an essential part of who he was, and he passed that pride on to the generations that followed him. Valentin was a devoted father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who cherished his family above all. He is survived by his beloved children: Abner (Tara) Berrios, Valentin (Marcela) Berrios, and Virmarie Berrios. His legacy lives on through his grandchildren: Anthony, Ricardo, Chastity, Edgardo, Serenity, Yailene, Scarlett, Waldemar, and Melissa, as well as his great-grandchildren: Gabriella, Yedaiah, Mi Amour, Mi Vida, and Elias. Valentin was a man of warmth, strength, and unwavering dedication to his loved ones. He will be remembered for his kind heart, wise counsel, and the deep love he showed to his family and friends.
