Tekla Zerebny

Tekla Zerebny’s (98)  earthly journey came to an end the morning of August 31, 2020. Tekla was preceded in death by her husband Ivan; and   is survived by her loving son Roman (Marilyn) and daughter Marianna (Taylor); her grandchildren Stephen (Dani), Thomas (Colleen); great grandchildren Rylan, Brooks and the late triplets McKay, Asher and Kenji.
In Western Ukraine, Tekla was born to Ivan and Eva (Majkowycz) Luczka and was the last surviving sibling of nine. She was a longtime resident of Evergreen Park, IL and formerly of South Chicago. She leaves behind many loving relatives in Ukraine, Argentina and America whom she cherished dearly.
Tekla was baptized at St. Dmytro by Father Theodore Lewytzkyj in Radoszyce, Ukraine
Visitation 10:00 am Funeral Service 11:00 am Friday September 4, 2020 at Saints Peter & Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church 8410 West 131st Street Palos Park, IL. Very Reverand Vasyl Sendeha officiating.
