Roy A. Kopeikin, Sr. age 97; beloved husband of the late Joy nee Solberg; loving father of Carol Kopeikin – Franrick, Roy Jr. (Ana) and Richard (Olivia) Kopeikin; cherished grandfather of Joy (Adam) Jacobsen, Richard, Andrew (Ashley), Paul (Chelsea) and Clemence Kopeikin; Great grandfather of Brody, Audrey, Alexander, Aiden, Olivia and Julia; fond brother of the late Leonard Kopeikin and the late Laura Nash; also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; proud WW II Army Air Corp veteran, member of the Elks, member of the Evergreen Park American Legion Post #854, former director of the Double Nickel Chorus, volunteer for 27 years at Little Co. of Mary Hospital, volunteer at Palos Hospital and former director of the Evergreen Park Senior Citizens Group.
