Roland John Jurgens

Roland John Jurgens, age 92; of Evergreen Park; passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 8, 2025. Beloved husband of the late Anne nee Carson; loving father of Judy Callaghan, Jim Jurgens and Tom Jurgens; cherished grandfather to Mike (Kimberly) Callaghan, Matt (Carly) Callaghan, Maura (Nate) Cahnman, Mark Jurgens, and Sophia Jurgens; devoted great grandfather of Anna, Emmy, Georgia, Matty, Ava, and Nathan; devoted brother of Wayne, Glenn, and Audrey McGuckin; preceded in death by two sisters and six brothers; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.

An attorney by trade (DePaul University), Roland also served as prosecutor for the Village of Evergreen Park from 1967 until retirement. He proudly served in the United States Navy.

Roland was cherished for his kind heart, generosity and unwavering dedication to his family. He will be missed by many.
