Monica Iversen

Monica Iversen of Tinley Park, IL passed away surrounded by her husband and children on January 13, 2024. Beloved wife to Christian Iversen for 41 years and loving mother of Jessica (Sara), Laura, and Kirsten (Adam). She will be deeply missed.

Monica was born January 29, 1961, to Alois and the late Maria (nee Schertzer) Fandl and was a loving sister to Maria Serge (late Albert) and Tina Fandl. Together with her husband, she ran Iversen’s Bakery in Blue Island and acted as the face of the bakery’s store for many years. Friend to many, loved by all; her smile and kindness brightened the lives of those around her.
