Loving father of Susan(Don) Sandofsky, Michael(Mary) Yerkes, Mary Yerkes(Denice Brandt), Sally Yerkes, JoAnn(Brian) Jordan, and Jill(David) Schweitzer. Cherished grandfather of 17 and great grandfather of 4. Beloved brother of Joanne(late Rich) Baumann, late Chuck(late Margaret) Yerkes, Dave(late Joan) Yerkes, late Ed(late Fran) Yerkes, late Fritz(Judy) Yerkes, late Joe(Toni) Yerkes, late Maxine Yerkes, Ben(late Connie) Yerkes, Mary Lou Yerkes, Alicia(late Bob) Distel,and Anna(Bill) Sokolowski. Interment St. Casimir Lithuanian Cemetery. Jack was a W.W. II veteran of the Navy SeaBees, a honored 70 year member of Don Varnas American Legion Post #986, a Fourth Degree Member of the Knight s of Columbus Cardinal Mundelein Chapter # 3024, and a retired Master Plumber for the City of Chicago.
