Jane Molloy Philbin, long-time Evergreen Park resident, lived nearly 101 years. The Irish-American, Chicago native died peacefully, April 15th with her family at her daughter’s home in Tucson, Arizona. The beloved wife of the late Joseph Philbin, she was the mother of two daughters, Nadine Philbin Lynch and Kathleen Philbin Stone, the loving grandmother of nine and great-grandmother of 12. A graduate of Mundelein College, she earned a Master’s Degree from Catholic University in Washington, D.C.
This centurion was a devout Catholic, literary scholar, homeopathic healer, global traveler and a Rosie the Riveter during World War II.
