James A. Sansone, age 89; beloved husband of Shirley nee Bilske and the late Faith nee Guiffra; loving father of Karen Sansone, Kathleen (late Ronald) Sawica, Faith (William) Prendergast, the late baby Jim Jim, Brian Sansone, Tina (Michael) Prusak,  and Joseph Parcon; cherished grandfather of Michael (Nicole) Prendergast, Jamie (Nicholas) Mittler, Jessica (Arthur) Robles, Michelle (Bill) Matt, Jeffrey Sawica, Matthew, Kelly, Sydney, Frankie, Michelle, and Brian II; great grandfather of Tatum, Noah, Raegan, Roxy, Avery, Arthur, and Adeline; dear brother of the late Dominic (late Mary) Sansone, the late Alice (late Leonard) Dorchek, the late Josephine (late Ignatius) Vitale, the late Rose Sansone, late Salvatore (late Mary) Sansone, the late MaryAnn (late Albert) Garbauski, the late Theresa (late Ralph) Hensler, Geraldine (late Francis) Pirelli, the late Rita (late Louis) Karmas, the late Frances (late Vito) DiFilippo, Dorothy (late Michael) Slavik, Margaret (late Walter) Judge, Cecilia (late Ted) Dorris, Leo (late Barbara) Sansone, Rose (late Paul) Borik, and Joseph (late Patricia) Sansone; fond brother in law, cousin,  friend, and Uncle to many many nieces and nephews. James was a faithful Christian and proud veteran of the Army. He was the best father ever! He took care of his family for his whole life and will be dearly missed. James loved his sweets, doughnuts, candy, and ice cream. It matched his personality, a very sweet man. He also liked to feed the birds and squirrels and was an avid league bowler.  Visitation Thursday January 4, 2024, 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Kosary Funeral Home 9837 S. Kedzie, Evergreen Park. Funeral Friday January 5^th, 10:15 am from funeral home to St. Bernadette Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am.
