Heinrich Jenig, Sr.

Heinrich (Henry) Jenig, Sr. born on September 25, 1938 in Kaunas, Lithuania and resided in Chicago, IL for the remainder of his life, passed peacefully on August 29, 2023. He was a beloved husband to Mary (Leprich) Jenig for 64 years, an amazing father to (the late) Henry Jr. (Kathy) Jenig, Stephan (Andrea) Jenig, Mark (Barb) Jenig, Erich (Jeanine) Jenig, Anton (Kathy) Jenig, Tina (Mark) Trost, and Suzy (Jeff) Merrick, and the best Opa to Kevin, Matthew, Aleksander, Tiana, Christopher, Spencer, Nelson, (the late) Ryane, Kennedy, Connor, Austin, Nicholas, Madelyn, Nolan, Gunner, Jersey, Gamble, and Archer. 

Henry Sr. was preceded in death by his parents August and Antonina Jenig, two brothers William and Richard Jenig, his son Henry Jr. and granddaughter Ryane.

He was an avid soccer player all his life for the The Liths Club and before his retirement worked hard as a Liquor Salesman for Old Rose Liquor and Union Liquors. Henry has left an imprint on everyone he came in contact with. He will be deeply missed, but he is at peace.
