Gizela Gonc

Gizela Gonc age 81, passed away on February 21, 2024. Gizela was born in Lendava, Slovenia on October 5, 1942 to Ferenc F. and Iren V. In the 1960’s, she immigrated to the United States with her husband, Laszlo M. Gonc, where they raised their four children: Laszlo S. Gonc, Elizabeth Gonc, Mary Urban, and Stephen Gonc; also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her. We invite you to remember and celebrate the life of Gizela Gonc, who has touched our life in some special way. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, March 9th at St. Edna Catholic Church (2525 N. Arlington Heights Rd, Arlington Heights, IL 60004). Visitation will take place from 9 a.m. – 10 a.m. with mass beginning at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to either the American Heart Association (https://www.heart.org) or the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (https://www.lls.org).
