Born and raised in Chicago and longtime resident of Evergreen Park; graduate of Ward Elementary School, Englewood High School and DePaul University; award-winning salesman for ReaLemon, Borden Foods and Chelsea Milling Co. (Jiffy); worked with his father at Peter Kukec & Sons grocery store aka Pete’s Meats in Chicago; proudly served as Seaman First Class on the U.S.S. Woonsocket (PF-32) in the US Coast Guard during World War II and is registered with National WWII Memorial in Washington D.C. Longtime member of Knights of Columbus Quigley Council 2428, American Legion Post 2910 and retired salesman luncheon group in the South Suburbs.
