David J. Walsh age 85; beloved husband of Joanne nee Lurgio; devoted father of Michael (Mary Beth), Stephen (Chellie), Thomas (Laurie), David A. (Jodi) and Christine (the late Frank Chudy); loving Grandfather of Daniel (Heather), Elizabeth (Adam), Michael (Christy), Amanda, Anthony (Christine), Jennifer, Tiffany, Tommy (Lina), Donald (Caitlyn), Colleen (Kevin), Patrick (Becky), Andrea, James, Erin and Great Grandfather of thirteen; fond brother of the late Sister Mary Alice,  late Dan (late Stephanie) and Kathy (Ronald) Johnson; also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Current member of the Hometown Zoning Board of Appeals, former President of Hometown Recreation Commission, former Worth Township Trustee, former Alderman for the City of Hometown and Grand Poohbah of the Loyal Order of Peacocks. Visitation Sunday August 5, 2018, 3 pm to 9 pm at Kosary Funeral Home 9837 S. Kedzie, Evergreen Park. Funeral Monday August 6th 9:15 am from Chapel to Our Lady of Loretto Church; Mass 10:30 am; Interment St. James Cemetery, Lemont, IL
